Dazzling fused glass dragonfly hanging decoration

These fused glass dragonflies look great in your  window, greenhouse, conservatory or garden.
A lovely gift for all garden and bird lovers. These birds are also fab for nursery decor and make lovely new baby or babyshower gifts. 

They can be used indoors as well as outdoors.

Please note that due to the glass being fused flat on a shelf and glass  being layered for the design, only one side (the top) shows the dichro eyes and tail design. 

Glass Art Handmade in Sheffield

This dragonfly design is loosely based on the beautiful blue Yorkshire dragonfly.

The glass is hand cut from coloured and clear art glass, decorated, layered and fused in a glass kiln to melt the layers of glass fully together.
A metal hanger is fused into the glass. The eyes and decorations on the tail are made from specialized dichroic glass that gives dazzling colour effects.

Size

The dragonfly is app 10 cm (4 inches)  from hanger to tail and 12-13 cm (5 inches) wide.

Due to their handmade nature, small variations in shape and size occur making each dragonfly a unique piece of glass art for you to enjoy.

Packaging and delivery

The dragonflies come on a nylon hanger and handmade tag in a white matchbox-style gift box (larger letter size).  The dragonflies are handmade to order. Processing time for these is 3-5 days, but I generally have a small number in stock.
